After earning a PhD in experimental quantum mechanics in Vienna, I decided it was time to really make something of my life—so I became an illustrator.
Originally from Palermo, I am currently based in Barcelona, where I traded the lab for a vibrant creative landscape, immersing myself in a community of extraordinary illustrators and artists.

As if becoming an illustrator weren’t challenging enough, my colorblindness often leads me to a more nuanced use of color.
I am physicist and an illustrator, but nowadays I use illustration to talk about science and science to solve the mysteries of illustration.
My playful approach to ‘illustrated science’ even earned me the XXI Premis Junceda in the Scientific Category from the Catalan Professional Illustration Association (APIC).
When I am not busy challenging the confines of traditional scientific illustration, I enjoy distilling complex ideas into narratives that might just make you laugh—or at least raise an eyebrow.
